Following up to our latest post, here is the list of other events in which we have been present recently.
Electra Mining – Johannesburg, September 2022
Mining has been a strategic field for us in the past couple of years, and we have gained a few distributors who are specialized in Mining applications. South Africa is a great example and thanks to our partner Mecosa, we have been able to sell our first probe to a major player in the industry. Our CSO, Dr. Sebastian Maaß traveled to South Africa back in September to attend this event and represent SOPAT.
Electra Mining is the largest show of its kind in Africa, it’s a unique platform for the mining, manufacturing, automation, electrical & power industries to connect and discover unique technologies such as SOPAT´s.
Lithium, Battery & Energy Metals Conference – Perth, September 2022
This conference has a global reputation for providing world class technical conferences to the global mining industry, showcasing the latest technologies, innovations, and industry best practice. Our partner in Australia, ALVI Technologies attended and exhibited a SOPAT system. Also, Dr. Sebastian Maaß gave a presentation called Evaluation of an in-line particle characterization method for slurries in battery production.
World Congress on Particle Technology – Madrid, September 2022
During the month of September, Dr. Sebastian Maaß and Clara Rosales (Marketing Manager) traveled to Madrid (Spain) to participate in the WCPT9. The event was organized by Anque, the Spanish Association of Chemistry. Dr. Maaß was part of the Academic Committee, and gave one presentation: Development of a method for In-situ real-time monitoring of microplastics in wastewaters using a photo-optical measurement technique; and moderated two complete sessions.
4th International Symposium on Multiscale Multiphase Process Engineering (MMPE) – Berlin, September 2022
The week in Berlin, after being in Madrid, Dr. Sebastian Maaß participated in the MMPE. SOPAT had an exhibition during the Congress, which was a great opportunity to stay close to the academic community.
Powtech – Nuremberg, September 2022
Given the large number of events, we had to split the team to be able to attend them all. Our colleagues from Parsum had a booth in this major event, and Dr. Mirco Wegener joined them to support the team. The fair was very successful and SOPAT and Parsum will most likely participate again in 2023. We are looking forward to it!
Analytica Anacon India & India Lab Expo – Mumbai, September
Our partner SPINCO is doing a great job when it comes to representing SOPAT in all the different fairs in the Indian Market, where our Sales rep Rahul Rane is supervising all the work there. SPINCO focuses on the Pharmaceutical Industry. The entire team will also be present in the PMEC, another important fair taking place at the end of November. This year Dr. Mirco Wegener will fly there to join the team!
